Bathroom Reveal

My blue and white bathroom is finished. My favorite addition is the frame we added around the mirror. Thanks go out to Full of Great Ideas Blog for their inspiration and guidance.

The paint is Jamaican Aqua by Benjamin Moore which replaced a floral wallpaper. The floor tile, counter tile and cabinets are original 1950′s so there are no changes there.

I love the idea of a piece of furniture in the bathroom. I found this white cabinet at Homegoods for $58.00 – a clearance item. I also like the idea for the storage shelves from 320 Sycamore Blog.

This vase on top of the cabinet was a “Must have” when I saw it at Anthropology. It was $24.00. The container for cotton is from Cost Plus World Market for $9.99.

Another favorite idea is from Jen Rizzo who is so creative. I copied her idea of using the washcloths in the basket as hand towels for guests.

The paint really pops in the toilet paper holder.

Most of the accessories come from Target including the Bird cage shower caddy. The round mirror is from Homegoods for $50.00 and it was also a “Must Have”.

Thanks for stopping by to see my new Bathroom!

Furniture Piece in the Bathroom

With my “in process” bathroom redo, I have decided to add a piece of furniture because I just love this look. I have seen this idea all over the web and especially like the photo below from Country Living.

Homegood came through for me on this white cabinet for my bathroom. I love the details and the price was right at $58.00.

I will finish my new bathroom this weekend!

Bathroom Ideas

Now I am planning my Bathroom redo. This picture below is for my dream bathroom.

What I am really planning  is to change up my bathroom and use some of the pictures below for ideas. They are mostly from my Pinterest Board. I have white tiles already and since I love the picture below, I will use the pretty aqua blue green color.

I like the idea of shelfs for storage and the baskets are nice.

The Bathroom remodel from Jennifer Rizzo is soooo beautiful. I like the idea of the pretty hand towel and using wash clothes for guests to dry their hands. Plus the colors and everything else in her bathroom are so nice!

I also want to frame the big mirror in my bathroon like the one below.

The reveal will be coming soon.

Guest Bedroom Remodel

The Guest Bedroom is finished!

It was a quick and easy remodel. The biggest change was painting the room and the color I picked was recommended by my friend Betsy. It is Stone House by Benjamin Moore. I also picked up a few things from Target and Home Goods. The bedding is from Targets Simply Shabby Chic line. The lamps are also from Target as are the two Ottomans. The pillows, pictures and curtains are all from Home Goods.

The three suitcases are from an idea I saw on Pinterest and I showed in my earlier Post. I picked up the suitcases at garage sales over the years.

I arranged the shelfs with ideas from Pinterest and used items I already had around the house. There is a wooden block on the shelf that says:

“A smile is a curve that can set everything straight“.

Fall Desktop Decor

Using white pumpkins with my Fall decor is a nice idea. I have seen it often on Pinterest so I decided to copy some of the ideas and I came up with the picture below:

I was happy to find the white owl pumpkin at TJ Maxx for only 7.99. The eyes flash with different colors, but I like these orange eyes the best. The little white pumpkins are from Pavilions for .59 each and the Mums with the white pot are from the 99 Cents Only Store. The rest of the items are from my collection.

One of my newest signs from my Etsy store is Bathroom Rules, It looks nice on the shelf in my Master bathroom.

Guest Bedroom Ideas

It is time to turn Lindsay’s bedroom into a guest bedroom. Currently I am in the planning stage and have found some great ideas on blogs and pinterest. The layout for the room will be similar to this pictue I saw on Pinterest. I want to put a picture over the bed, a side table on each side with a lamp and two ottomans at the foot of the bed.

The Lettered Cottage gave me an idea for a side table made of old suitcases. I will use this idea for a sitting area side table under the window.

The colors that I plan to use are tan and seafoam green as seen in the photo from The Rooster and the Hen Blog. However, the walls in my guestroom will be a tan color. Hopefully the painting will be next weekend and then I can put up all the ideas I am planning.

Below is a picture of the current bedroom with Lindsay’s graduation gift quilt on the bed:
