Front Yard Planters – Before and After
We now have a new brick border for our front yard planters and I planted new flowers thanks to the advise from my friend Liz at Gardens By Liz.
My plants should all do well in the direct sun. I hope. The annuals are:
- White Alyssum
- Red Begonias
- Cosmos
The other plants are:
- Agapanthus
- Azaleas
- Camelia
- White iceberg Roses
- Status
Have a nice day!

Pretty Flower Vase
A nice flower vase idea from Classic Casual Home Blog. She used a bottle of Patron Tequila for the vase.

The container I found at Marshals will work nice.
I added buttons leftover from when I made a Bracelet.

Have a happy weekend.

The baby of the family is so so sweet.
And the best mom in the world who has taught me so much.
A very Happy Mother’s Day to you!
I will be spending the day with my family and enjoying a homemade dinner prepared by my kids.
It doesn’t get much better than that!!

Flower Ideas for a Shady Backyard
This beautiful long row of color is my inspiration from Pinterest:
Since the area in my yard is so shady, my plan is to do impatiens in pink and white with hostas in the back.
This week I will be preparing the soil and planting.
Have a nice day.

Exterior Paint Reveal
AFTER
We are so happy with the way it turned out. Paint details are as follows:
The brown is a special mix because we brought them a paint chip from our neighbors house and they matched it.
The front door is Red Ink.
The trim is Swiss Coffee.
The shutters are Black Match.
Have a nice day.

Exterior Paint
It is time to paint our house and we are planning a BIG change in color. We have driven around many neighborhoods to get ideas and agreed on painting the house brown with white trim, black shutters and a red door. The pictures below are the inspiration. The first picture is from Better Home and Garden

The house below is several blocks from our house. I had to go knock on their door and ask them the paint colors. They are from Dunn Edwards and the brown is a special order mix.

Our house has been the same color for twenty years so we are nervous about this change. As you can see in the picture below, we are making a drastic change.
Our house is currently being prepared for the paint as you might notice in the picture. The reveal will come next weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.
